JESSICA-"Man, making a gingerbread house is harder than you think."
Her cousin, Patrick, gave her a gingerbread house kit and she was so excited to make it. She did not want it to look like the box. (I totally would have copied it. I always look at my nativity boxes and then arrange the figures just like I see it on the front of the box.) I guess Jessica knows how to think outside the box. I put all the frosting on and she went to town with all the candy.

Now, I might be prejudice, but I think that's the very best gingerbread house I've ever seen in my whole life!! Will you share with Nana? Let's eat it all before your Mom finds out - shhh - don't tell.
Houses are so DANG HARD!!! This year I got lazy and we made a "star" tree... instead of trying to get all the walls to stay up we just stacked stars up to a point :) Yeah, I'm that lazy-
You guys did a great job. Maybe you can help me next year :)
