Happy Birthday Dad!

My dad turned 65 today, although he claims he looks only 35. Keep dreaming dad! We took him to lunch at (his choice) Golden Chorral. He even parked in the "Reserved for Senior Citizens" parking space. No joke. I have been with him to places like Apollo Burger and Pep Boys where he has asked them if they give a senior discount. By the way, they don't. Try to milk it for all it's worth. I think he enjoyed standing on the chair and being sung to today. At least he's not too old because he was able to get up on the chair unassisted. Way to go dad!

Ok....chick fil a DOES give the senior discount, I know this cuz my mom requests it everytime, and she's only 63! That is funny. Your dad looks darling. He is a year younger than my dad. What little cuties. He seems to have a great sense of humor, which is key in life! Love ya and have a great conference weekend!

Ever since he's been 60, it's all about the senior discount! Wait till you get there; I find myself asking the same question!! But, the worst was when I was about 38 and at a fast food restaurant at the mall and the little boy behind the counter GAVE me a senior discount. I didn't realize it until I looked at the receipt while I was waiting for the food. HOW EMBARRASING. Great conference - gotta make the 2:00 session. xoxo Mom
