Love is in the Air

Each February we pull out our family Valentine mailboxes. We leave them out through Valentine's Day. The idea is to write kind and loving notes to each other as well as leave some treats. I have to say that as the mom I write and give the most and I receive the least. What's wrong with that picture? Hmmm...

Jessica loves this the most. She gets excited to tell people that they have mail. She asked me the other day if we could leave the mailboxes out forever. Don't you just love how little kids get excited over everything? (sigh)

I love your mailboxes idea. Just tell Jessica if you leave them out forever pretty soon everyone forgets and they just fill up with dust! Better to have them full once a year than not at all! I like your scrapbook page, too. Did you make that one???

What a great idea. Jessica's picture is too, too darling. Who's the lucky grandparents of this little cutie?

I did not scrapbook Jessica's picture. It's just one of the things to do on picnik.com. I love that site!

One year we left the mailboxes up for the whole month of February and it was too long. People got tried of doing it.

What a great idea! I hope you keep the notes and preserve them somehow. (I know, it's the scrapbooker/family history enthusiast in me!) Happy Valentine's Day to all of you. Hugs.
