Hot off the presses! Two exciting bits of school news.
The first one is that Orem Elementary is getting a new principal. She is the cream of the crop for the district's pick. I'm so excited for the faculty, students and the community.
The second bit of news is that I got a job. I will be teaching 4th grade at the new north Lehi school - North Point Elementary. I'm so excited! The school is beautiful--a teacher's dream. (So worth the 15 minute commute.)
I feel so blessed to have gotten an interview and gotten hired. The only schools that were hiring so far were the two new ones. The jobs were open for 2 weeks. The first day that it opened there were 200 applicants. The principal said that he got 700 e-mails concerning the jobs over spring break. I feel so lucky!
I dreaded the whole interview thing, which I had on Monday. I couldn't sleep that night and I kept second guessing everything I said in the interview.
Plenty of diarrhea...
Anyway, I was just called in today and offered the job. I screamed so loud that Jessica heard me in the front office. What can I say? I'm a little excited right now.

You guys are really making me feel so good!
Thanks for all the kind words.
It's fun to share my excitement and see that others are excited for me.
Thanks!
(Mom, I have no idea what the "no more bathroom trips" comment means??? You'll have to explain that to me.)
