We were finally in and got perfect seats. So excited!
Since we saw a ton of people we knew at our showing at 4:00pm on opening day and I know of so many more who were seeing it yesterday as well, is there anyone left who hasn't gone yet?

Every time we saw Jasper we laughed. (I think it was his eyes.)
Thought that everyone was cast pretty well. Especially liked Bella and James.
Why were Jacob's teeth so dang white?
Could not stand the actor for Edward. It just didn't work for us. We tried to get used to him, but we couldn't. His face is a bit displaced somehow that gives him a "special" look. The hair all rolled up on top did not work for us either. There were a couple brief moments where we said, "Okay, now that look would work." But then the moment was gone.
All in all we enjoyed the movie. Sierra really liked it a lot. Glad we went.

It was okay but the movie in my head from reading the book is much better :) It made me want to go reread every book so I could recapture what it is to me.
Just got back and I knew you'd have something about it on your blog. My thoughts--it was WAY low budget. Thought Bella was way cute, but Edward did nothing for me. He's so suave and well-spoken in the books. I wanted him to say two sentences at once! He was half-way okay looking when he actually smiled, but that was what?...twice in the entire movie? And his K-mart wardrobe totally bugged me! The golden onion award? Was that in the book? On the flip side, the baseball scene was fun. And the "Cullens meeting Bella" scene was funny. I had no clue how they were going to pull off the "sparkling skin" thing, but it was cool. I had to go the the bathroom about 15 minutes into the movie, but I didn't want to miss anything so I waited the entire time.
